A residential area, with several tucked away green spaces. Located close to Manchester, you can spend the best part of a day exploring nature and local history.

Kersal Bowl: A local dog walking spot, this popular green spot is a local flood defence and birdlife sanctuary. With a causeway path, it is one of the easiest places to find a bit of green space in Salford.
Kersal Dale: On the other side of the river to Kersal Bowl, is a forested hillside with snaking paths, which though not large, can feel enormous.
River Irwell: The River Irwell runs through the area. It has several paths lining it and can be walked along as far as Bolton from Kersal.
Parking: Parking is available in the town, but is limited and largely pay and display.
Cafés: There are a couple good cafés within walking distance. Of particular note are Treehouse café, and Martins, a local bakery selling pies and sandwiches.

10 - The 10 runs directly from Shudehill.
Parking in the area is possible, but the local area can be busy during commuter times.
